Amazon is now providing download service to TiVo. This particular service is called the Amazon Unbox.
Amazon.com is a well known online store which now provides thousands of near DVD quality videos. Whether it is movies or TV shows you want, you can be sure that you will be able to rent or even purchase it from Amazon Unbox.
The great thing about Amazon Unbox is that you will not only be able to watch the downloaded shows on your TiVo, but you will also be able to watch it from your PC or any other portable devices.
Currently, Amazon Unbox is available for any TiVo Series 2, TiVo HD and TiVo Series 3 with broadband connection. It is not currently available for DirecTV/TiVo subscribers or people with TiVo who uses a telephone line.
As you can see, there are quite a lot of features that TiVo offers today. With the Amazon Unbox, you will be able to watch your favorite TV shows that is not being aired anymore again and also let you watch your favorite movies.
